BMF leaders canonized by Swedish artist
November 19, 2008 at 8:18 am by Mara Shalhoup in BMFSwedish artist Hannes Isaksson, whose totally awesome sketches of American gangsters have typically centered on the New York set (think Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, Lorenzo “Fat Cat” Nichols, and Leroy “Nicky” Barnes), has broadened his horizons to the Atlanta-based Black Mafia Family.
OK, so Isaksson incorrectly identified BMF co-founder Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (left), as his brother — and fellow BMF founder — Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (right). Still, the drawing’s pretty rad.
(Sketch by Hannes Isaksson, obviously)

I don’t know about this Mara, but I guess it’s pretty cool to know that some one from Sweeden knows about BMF but as for the drawing kinda sucks.

Viewed on its own, it might be a bit … lacking. But when you see it in the slideshow alongside all the other kingpins, it becomes more meaningful somehow.
Click on “totally awesome sketches” and let me know if what I’m saying makes sense.
