Israel claims they didn’t mean to burn up all the food for Palestinian refugees housed in the U.N. No word yet on whether they meant to kill journalists, though.

Good riddance to Jamarcus Usher. That’s the way every armed robbery should end. I would like to congratulate the man that killed him. You did us all a favor by removing a piece of garbage from our society.
Everyone should remember this incident and think long and hard about whether they want to put their faith in the state or in themselves. The APD most likely won’t be there when a person needs them – as they’re being attacked – and they may not be much help after the fact either. Why rely on the state to protect you and serve justice when you can legally do it yourself?
On the TV news last night there was a story about an older man who was robbed and beaten during the afternoon one block from City Hall East. He was shocked and scared but mostly upset that the police and governement didn’t come to his rescue. Don’t count on getting justice that way, my friend. APD have too many other murders, rapes and robberies to worry about. Now is the time to buy a gun and keep it with you at all times.
Also, I’m not surprised CL gave this story a small paragraph in the news round-up. I’m sure the writers and editors (are there still editors there?) only consider stories in which the victim was shot or killed to be worthy of a stand-alone post or feature story. That way CL and most of their readers can pout and empathize with the victim. Always the victim.
CL is just as out-of-touch with most people’s thoughts and feelings about crime as Mayor Franklin and Chief Pennington. I’m sure they don’t want everyone to do what this great man did and start killing all the thugs. But that’s what needs to be done!
