Fort’s City Council President bid unlikely
April 13, 2009 at 12:12 pm by Thomas Wheatley in NewsState Sen. Vincent Fort, D-Atlanta, is leaning against running for Atlanta City Council President, a source very close to the lawmaker tells CL. He’s expected to make a decision tomorrow.
If Fort opts not to run, that leaves Atlanta City Councilmembers Clair Muller and Ceasar Mitchell vying for the top spot. As of right now, at least.

Maybe Senator Fort decided not to run because his initials are not “CM?” If that’s the case, wouldn’t we be better off with a city council headed by Connie Mack or Charles Montesquieu? Or perhaps worse off with Charles Manson? Would CharleMagne qualify?
