the point is that the elected leaders of america need to interact with EVERYONE, not just the leaders that fox news approves of.

Isolationism is never a good idea. The trick is undestanding when you are getting played.

Homeschoolers can have their parents biases or their teachers. Based on the teachers and professors I had over the years, I would rather have my parents views. Many of those infulences will be gone by the time they get out of college and certainly by the time they have been on their own for a while. It took a few years before I realized that many of the PhD’s I suffered under were likely idiot savants.

idk, i’ve met/dealt with a number of home schooled kids and while they may have an impressive grasp of certain subjects, they tend to display a lack of general knowledge and often can’t overcome their parent’s biases when trying to learn about the world around them.

but regardless of where or IF this particular commenter was educated, his point that engaging the world is bad for america is ludicrous.

Wesleywhatwhat – you do realize that home schooled kids consistently outperform their public schooled counterparts, right?

Your statement would be more correct if you had hoped it to be a Georgia public school, currently somewhere around 45 or 50 in national rankings.
