The AJC today accused R&B singer Erik Lockett of living a “bi-coastal lifestyle.”
I swear these vultures in the news media will do and say anything to sell papers these days.
Live and let live. That’s what I say. As long as he doesn’t try to recruit my kids to this bi-coastal stuff, it’s none of my business.

hey loaf! you’ve got 75% of the 1999 level of the ajc staff laid off reading creative loafing each day waiting for something to bitch about (as your redesign comments would indicate) — and you just pop up a story once a month?!? C’mon! Boston Globe is done, Rocky news is done … and you don’t think the AJC is about cash in as a daily newspaper in Atlanta?!?! You should own this story and let the insiders and (in)voluntary outsiders comment on every breath until the end comes in, I’ll put at … 19 October 2010. The AJC really cannot exist as a daily newspaper for much more than a year. Especially with the leadership that they’ve held onto that’s led them to the WORST performance of ANY major metro in the ENTIRE country for 10 years. And NONE of them have been made uncomfortable or forced out. They continue to waste our time with ridiculous ideas. Let’s blog their demise day-by-day, blow-by-blow, moronic idea by moronic idea! A “bi-coastal lifestyle” just means you have a house on both coasts because you travel a lot.
I know a lot of people in the technology and consulting business that have “bi-coastal lifestyles” because they do business in two cities.
I hear that people in entertainment do it, especially between New York and LA.
You’re sounding like there’s some sexual ‘lifestyle” meaning to it. If so, I’ve never heard it mentioned that way in my circles…

Hey I’ve been knowing this guy for several years. Bi-coastal meaning living in two seperate coasts not biosexual. Please be careful of remarks you make about people.

Personally I don’t care where he’s engaging in these bicoastal activities. I just don’t want to know about it. It’s probably the reason he moves around so much, though, when you think about it.
