Henderson murder press conference

CL staffers Scott Henry and Alejandro Leal covered the Atlanta Police Department’s John Henderson press conference on our Twitter feed.
Atlantans Together Against Crime’s Kyle Keyser also Twittered the press conference.
Atlanta Police say ballistics and DNA evidence led them to charge 17-year-old Jonathan Redding with Henderson’s murder.
CL’s servers are acting wonky, so check here AND our Twitter feed for updates as they become available.

Congrats to the APD for catching one of the bad guys.
It’s only a matter of time before this guy starts to talk and tell on his friends.

Interesting (and troubling) that two of the guns used in the shooting (and other crimes) were stolen.
Civilians shouldn’t be armed.

What utter bullshit. If the right to bear arms was taken away, then only the criminals would have guns. Do you honestly think that criminals will give up their guns if the right to bear arms is take away from the civilian population? Please, this is just utter ignorance.
Remember… when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

Grow a Pair, you’re just part of the problem. Do the math.
Then, go back to watching 24, stud.

Twitter’s wonking out today too. Gremlins in the Internets. Must have been some over at the APD crime lab too. Over three months to process and confirm DNA/ballistics results and make an arrest on a teen with a rap sheet from here to a Kingdom Hall? On CSI they turn stuff like that around in an hour. Less if you don’t count commercial breaks. I think my TV’s lying to me. Least I can trust The Twitter. When it comes back up.
