Report: Gang of accused Henderson killer also linked to blue jean thefts
May 13, 2009 at 9:17 am by Andisheh Nouraee in NewsFox 5 reports the Mechanicsville-based 30 Deep street gang linked to the murder of Grant Park bartender John Henderson might also be responsible for some of the so-called “blue-jean bandit” robberies targeting local boutiques since 2007.

I don’t believe this. Our esteemed leaders, Shirley Franklin and Police Chief Richard Pennington have already explained to us that the rash of property crimes in the city have nothing to do with the uptick in violent crime and that all of this nonsense was just our minds playing tricks on us. Because we all know that murderers don’t steal and thieves don’t murder – it’s outlined in their union contracts.

Wouldn’t that be “accused … killer’s gang…”? “Gang of….”?

You’re right. Accused killer’s gang is better. The gift of pith was not with me with morning.

Channel 2 reported that the APD also think 30 Deep might be responsible for some flat-screen TV thefts.
And the Redding family released a letter to the media:
“Jonathan is not the monster that he has been portrayed to be but was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Jonathan has strong family values and ties, and we feel he is currently a victim of the judicial system.”
I’ve heard that APD thinks Redding shot Henderson in the leg and possibly someone else killed him. But I’m glad to know the truth is that Redding was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whew! That explains it all.
And then this nugget:
“…we have and always will stand together strong as a united family.”
Always strong, huh? Was the Redding family standing together strong when little 17-year-old Jonathan was out at 4am on a Wednesday night, a school night, hanging with his street gang?

During murder trials with multiple accomplices, please keep this phrase in mind and remind your local prosecutors:
“Party to a Crime”
“crucial and key to the prosecution’s case is a Georgia law on “party to a crime” in which all of those involved may be charged, prosecuted and convicted as if each had pulled the trigger.”

That letter made me laugh. My mother is a teacher and she tells me all the time about parents that just flat out refuse to believe that their little angel was acting up at school. I guess it makes more sense that the post graduate level eduacated woman has a vendetta against an 8 year old. It is way more ridiculous in this case but the same principle.
Also, where the hell was this strong family unit when their high school aged child got a tattoo on his fucking face??!!

The letter is astonishing. If that letter indeed reflects the thinking of his family, it’s no wonder he’s an (alleged) fuck-up.

I guess you view this a a tragedy or you can look @ it as a sign of the times…The thing is in a nut shell, crime exsist and crimes and deaths will continue to happen all across the world. The nature of this beast is that folks are broke…Folks are trying to eat by any means necessary. Its easy to say get a job or whatever, but the nature of the beast is alive and well. I hate that any of this happen. I am sure that the individual and individuals involved are prepared to be accountable for their actions if made…They understood that when they did the crime.Cant point the finger and claim we were victims in this, life is based apon personal choice. This young man made a choice to take a life or be a party to taking a man’s life, hold up in the same way you have held up in every other senario inlife….Man up and live by the sword in which you made for yourself…I hate it cause its lives effected on every level and truth be told…..this is just the beginning of the big pay back,,,We reap what we sew

Throw his entire damn family in the same jail cell with him. These punks are ruining this city. I have seen countless stories on the news about store owners relocating their shops outside of the city limits because these thugs are constantly robbing them – repeatedly. The quality of life in this city is being diminished. At this rate, we are probably 10 years away from having a reputation like Detroit, Cleveland, etc.

I always wait for the “he’s a good boy” public statement tocome from a family member.
