I think a big part of the gridlock problem in Atlanta has to do with bad development practices. I think improvements in transit should go hand in hand with improvements to residential/commercial development practices and adjustments to existing developments.

Too damn much affordable housing is too damn far from where the jobs are and where the groceries are and the daycare and the places to buy underwear, etc. Of course the roads are choked -- we have to drive 10 miles on them to do every single task.</description>
