He’s not touring as part of Wings, is he? I hate it when one original member of a band tours with the old group’s name. It’s dishonest. True Wings fans would probably feel ripped off.

McCartney’s clearly cashing in the buzz surrounding the 30th anniversary of Wings’ landmark “Back To The Egg” LP.

    Sarcasm people. Sarcasm.

Silly Love Songs — now that’s a jam!

This reminds me of the first time I felt old – as a grad student in Athens (in the mid-1980s), having lunch, when the song “Yesterday” came on the sound system, and an undergrad at the next table said, “Oh, I love this song – it’s by that group Paul McCartney was in before Wings!” I’m not making this up.

  6. Gray Says:

I always preferred his solo stuff. Everything before “Ebony & Ivory” was crap.
