At the same time it's a shame that he can't find anyone to take over these properties - renters, etc, that would understand and respect the history while helping these buildings thrive and not be vacant. Personally I think it would be great if the Ace Hotel group took over. They've done a great job with older buildings in other cities. They would keep important elements to the Clermont intact - structural, historical and novel such as the Lounge below.
