Instead of lobbyists SoCo should be using the money to rethink their energy sources and increasing efficiency!

I am never suprised to hear about the lengths that this company will go to to keep doing business as usual.  (Not to mention the water use and water temerature manipulations that occur at these plants...)

They defend their inaction by stating they have &quot;the lowest utility rates in the US.&quot;

Pathetic.

I guess it is self serving and makes sense as a business model.

If they continue to pollute the air at the current rate, our kids will have to remain inside and depend on mechanized air, powered by good ol&#039; southern company.  

It&#039;s a good thing we can pat their asthmatic heads and console them with &quot;hey, at least our power is cheap so we can afford the medical bills!&quot;</description>
