SHOCK: Georgia high school treats gay student like actual human
Gay prom date OK’d. World doesn’t end.
A Bleckley County high school student asked permission to bring a same-sex date to the high school prom. He had to ask permission, not because of any same-sex prom date policy, but because Bleckley County must approve dates brought from outside the county.
Remarkably, the school said yes.
And so, for day at least, Georgia’s Unmississippiness is restored.
