Lovable, cuddly former House Speaker say fight against proposal isn’t over
Newt Gingrich stopped by the St. Regis in Buckhead today to rail against the recently passed health care reform bill that would extend insurance to millions of Americans — including some 1.7 million Georgians.
Gingrich was in town for an event held by the Center for Health Transformation, a for-profit organization that aims to “grow a movement that will accelerate the adoption of transformational health solutions and policies that create better health and more choices at lower cost.” Nice and vague, just how we like it. I wonder who started this noble organization and helps “grow the movement” with endless Fox News appearances? Oh, his name is Newt Gingrich.
