Gold Dome transportation funding pow-wow like all the others
Something happened! Or did it?
The AJC’s Gold Dome wizard Aaron Gould Sheinin reports that House and Senate leaders gathered this morning for a brief sitdown about transportation funding.
The gist: Republicans got together. They looked over an old bill. An hour later, they adjourned without doing much of anything. Insert quote from House Majority Leader Jerry Keen about finding consensus or some other nonsense. The Senate will want to make some adjustments. They’ll meet again next week, once the Masters are over.
