Swords at the grocery store
Monday, April 7th, 2008While the local media’s attention is focused on just-passed legislation allowing guns in restaurants and on MARTA, I have discovered a far more pressing weapons-related issue.
The Buford Highway Farmer’s Market sells Samurai swords.
They’re not authentic samurai swords, but they are real swords — sharp, metal and deadly. And they’re sitting on a shelf, at kid-height, in the housewares department.
