DIY holiday gifts

Friday, November 21st, 2008

My personal favorite of the DIY gifts featured in our Hard Times Holiday Guide is the felt fortune cookie. Even though I’m a newbie to handcrafted gifting, a few of my friends and family should expect to find one of these babies popping up in their stocking this year. If you have more names on your list than dollars in your wallet, check out our other DIY gift ideas, including a felt toast ornament and woven plastic earrings.

If you happen to have a little extra cash to spare this season, check out our list of the best music box sets, the best cookbooks, and our DVD gift guide to take the guess work out of gifting.
