Jagger’s needs your cash
October 7th, 2008 by Cliff Bostock in RestaurantsAnother sign of the times, a message from Jagger’s at Sage Hill Shopping Center:
Now is the time fur all good men (and ladies) to come to the aid of this fine pizza establishment…we’re going through a real slim financial period and our very survival may depend on any kind samaritans out thar who might can lend a hand…so come all ye faithful….fork it over or forever hold your piece….be part owner maybe..help old Bill Jagger out …..the gas crunch and bad economy has our boxers in a bind….so don’t let us sink….I’ll personally make you a pizza everyday of the year for 2 weeks…this product is tops and needs to be preserved here near Emory University…act now……thanks a heap!!…Moe

yeah, pour your cash into a dying business… no thanks.
maybe it was the best pan pizza around when there was nothing in ATl during the 80s. the pizza is nothing to write home about. the wings were decent.
having it take out only doesn’t help business either.
i’m going thru a bad time financially too. pop’s junkyard needs to survive, please help with large cash donations.

Yeah, I live very close by and even remember Jagger’s from the old days. I stopped by to get a menu and the prices were really expensive. Between the Everybody’s at Emory Village and the Mellow Mushroom at Briar-Vista, my neighborhood pizza needs were met. I am sorry it did not work out for him though.

We’re doing fine actually..and the pizza is well worth writing home about…I make the dough, sauce, and about everthing else and it’s all fresh and delicious…it’s top quality and much better than Everybody’s or Mellow Mushroom…catch yall later…I gotta make the dough and drain the fryer….Hollywood

I think the pizza is awesome (and unique), way, way, WAY better than the crap Everybody’s dares call “pizza.” However, while I used to go to the Village location of Jagger’s all the time, I have only been to the Sage Hill location twice (even though I practically live across the street). I REALLY believe this place would do better if they invested in some more tables and a license to sell beer. These are necessities to a pizza place, and would at least allow Jagger’s to compete with the other 2 local pizza restaurants. Based on their food, Jagger’s deserves to survive, but they need to attract customers first! (The coupons they put on the doors around the neighborhood were also a nice incentive….)
