I just read the post about a 45 min wait past the reservation.

Inexcusable.

If I understand correctly, a person who orders a steak well done (which I agree is wrong) DESERVES bad service and improperly prepared food for the entire table because some prima donna chef got his thong in a bunch? Really? If I owned a restaurant and my staff did that, they would probably be fired.

Note to "foodies" and service people - there are not enough of you to keep the places you love in business, so, if you wish to survive and enjoy your favorite spots, learn to accept those people with differing tastes from you.

What a bunch of snobs.

BTW, my old boss always ordered his filet butterflied and well done. He is also one of the best tippers and most gracious diners that I have ever met.

I went with friends a few weekends ago for a birthday party. I experienced about the same as Heather. Service was slow, couldn't get drinks refilled, etc.
What cracks me up is that everyone is focused on how someone ordered their steak, but what no one mentions is that the place is overrun with wannabees who think they belong in buckhead but should probably go back to college park!

Heather,

It would have been a lot easier if you had gone out to your car and started biting into your tire - you would have had the same texture & taste of your well done steak and you wouldn't have had to tip either! Well, if you ordered a well done steak, I'm sure you didn't tip very much (if any) in the first place.

I'm still laughing over the girl who ordered well done steak! Lol, it's sad but some people just will never get it. And by "it" I mean knowing how to dine out.

Went with a group of 6 on Feb 21. Late reservation, about 45 min wait past reservation. The place is a bit overwhelmed. Attitude level is mixed, some staff should be fired immediately, some were doing great in the eye of a storm.

I had assumed the food would be average, given the scene, but actually it was great. The Goat Cheese Custard was delicious, as was the lobster - not overcooked, great flavors. Desserts also good.

Parking is a pain, staff are a bit of a pain, and the place is too popular at the moment...

I bet the chef about killed someone when he saw that ticket come into the kitchen. The servers ignored them because they axed for katsup too."

What? How do you "axe" for anything? Go back to school.

My girlfriend and I ate there last week and the parking or lack there of is valet only! What a Joke. The pizza is flat bread, its alright. way over priced for the quality of service. The waiters and staff look sad, not happy to be there I guess. It took 50 min from the time we sat down to get our dinner. The wine list is sloppy, the manager came by to say that he was sorry but we could not understand a thing he said due to his slurred speech. way to many colors in your hair, pick one dude. All in all we wont be back, we would rather eat at tgi fridays the food is better and you dont have to pay a half a tank of gas to park.

Appetizers were fabulous, cookies for dessert were good, entrees needed some work. Pork chop was overly vinegary-tangy (others we spoke to didn't enjoy the pork either), braised short ribs just okay. The Pinot Noir we ordered was served way too warm. For that matter, I don't think we've ever had such a weak example of this grape even at low every day drinker prices. This particular offering was very thin and lacked any pinot complexity. I really don't know why it was chosen for the wine list. Maybe the wine rep gave the restaurant a deal? We've eaten at Jean-Georges in NYC and I have to say, this restaurant doesn't even come close. Our server was a very sweet girl who didn't appear to have much training. I think overall this restaurant is for a very young see and be scene crowd. It's also very noisy which makes conversation difficult.
