It's a nice cozy place. I wanted to like the Bookhouse. We were disappointed with our entrees but my fiance said, after we'd eaten there, "It's all right but it's still bar food. Glorified, sure, but bar food." We haven't hit the Bureau yet but the reports of this so-called poutine are coming false. The descriptions I'm getting of it are being debunked. Heck, I myself don't care because it's still fries and gravy and cheese. I’ve pretty much liked everything I’ve gotten at the Porter—the only exception being a very misleading salad description.
