My college roommate – from SW Virginia – loved to hunt squirrels and talk about eating them. After one winter break, he brought back a ziploc bag full of them, fried them up, made “squirrel gravy” and biscuits. I rolled my eyes but he ate every bit of it. Who knew that he was at the forefront of a gourmet revolution?
