OMG! Free pancakes tomorrow!

February 23rd, 2009 by Cliff Bostock in Events, Restaurants

Well, sort of:

What: IHOP’s National Pancake Day Celebration Benefiting Children’s Miracle Network.

IHOP Restaurants nationwide will offer guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Children’s Miracle Network on National Pancake Day.  With a goal to raise $1 million, funds will benefit children’s hospitals and other charities throughout the U.S.  Also known as Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day has been celebrated for centuries in England, with a tradition and lore all its own.*

Why: For every delicious short stack of pancakes served on National Pancake Day, IHOP guests are invited to make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

When: Tuesday, February 24, 2009, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Where: At participating IHOP restaurants in the Atlanta area.

Find an IHOP near you.

Damn you Cliff :-) Maybe I shouldn’t have scheduled the post for 12:05 am tomorrow! Pancakes rule…but did you know that Pancake day is actually a religious holiday (of sorts)…
