Just a note: I brew with a Chemex and the unbleached filters at home, and they are nearly brown-paper-bag brown. Looks like a bleached filter in the photo (Chemex makes those too).

And since what’s a note without a PS: I’ve been thinking of trying “cold-brewed” coffee at home for the coffee that I ultimately drink iced instead of hot.

You can chalk the Emory Village decline up to one gentleman- the landlord. Stuart Meddin is a giant, greedy douche.

I miss Caribou. And Burrito Art. And Jaggers. Emory village has degraded beyond recognition in the past 10 year.

As for Method, I had a $3 regular coffee there once. That was enough.
