Arizona Pub opens
July 7th, 2009 by Cliff Bostock in Drink, Restaurants
The Arizona Pub (130 Arizona Ave., 404-370-0550) has opened in Candler Park. It’s a unique space with one bar upstairs and another downstairs. There are three patios and windows everywhere.
For now, the pub is serving an abbreviated menu of the usual pub grub, like this quite good bacon-cheeseburger. But dinner entrees will be added later.
In the meantime, go drink the beer and ambiance.

Glad it finally opened. Seems like it took forever for some reason. Great looking space.

I tell you why it took forever to open…..The christian influence in anything fun, especially alcohol related. Had they named the place “Jesus is Good” pub, it would have opened in a matter of hours.

I liked this place. I ordered a “bird dog” that was tasty enough. They serve half pint drafts, which I can’t remember having seen around here. Good selection, reasonable prices.
