Cliff’s Top 10 Favorite Restaurants Countdown: Number 6
October 16th, 2009 by Cliff Bostock in Restaurants
The Shed at Glenwood is where I land every Wednesday night. That’s when Chef Lance Gummere prepares an ever-changing menu of fat, delicious sliders that cost all of $3 each. The regular menu includes the delicious novelty of pan-fried chicken hearts and a foie gras torchon with warm fig jam. Go Sunday and you get three courses for $20.
Favorite dishes: Recent favorite sliders have been wild boar with caramelized onions, and one showcasing a thick slice of fried green tomato with goat cheese. 475 Bill Kennedy Way. 404-835-4363 www.theshedatglenwood.com.
We will be counting down Cliff’s Top 10 Favorites every day between now and Oct. 21, the day our Food Issue 2009 launches. Check back tomorrow for Number 5.

i went to the shed last week to try out slider night & celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was so much fun!! the server was great, the atmosphere was fun, we loved trying the wines and desserts as well, and they brought out a housemade ding dong for the birthday guy. just wanted to share.

I don’t know this might be a decent Shed by Atlanta’s middling standards, but I’ve been in Sheds in NYC and LA that blow this Shed out of the water.
