Food, Inc. Movie and Mixer this Thursday

RogueAapron is teaming up with Georgia Organics and Slow Food Atlanta for an exclusive showing of Food, Inc. this Thursday at the Midtown Art Cinema. The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with beer provided by Five Seasons Brewery and door prizes. The film will start at 7:10 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available online via rogueApron.

Sustainable farming in East Atlanta

RogueApron, the (not-so-)underground supper club, reports that it will be hosting one of its “dirt-to-table dinners” at the new Harvest Farms this summer. The sustainable farm, owned by Collins Davis, is actually located in East Atlanta and work has just begun on it, as this video, featuring a bumper crop of tires, demonstrates.
