Hey, if the superintendent won’t give a *member of the School Board* access to information then what’s a person to do?
To put it in business terms – the district administration is a management layer. The job of a management layer is arranging the work environment to:
1. Make sure that everyone’s job requirements are clear.
2. Make sure everyone has the resources *and time* they need to do their jobs.
3. Remove obstacles that prevent people from doing their jobs. (This includes not becoming an obstacle yourself.)
The superintendent is not the actual boss. She has seven bosses, and her job (in addition to the three things stated above) is implementing policies made by the School Board.
