Wilborn lands new gig in St. Pete
July 11, 2007 at 4:38 pm by Wayne GarciaPaul Wilborn, laid-off Tampa city arts czar and former Times and Trib journalist, has a new gig, as the executive director of the Palladium Theater in downtown St. Petersburg.
The Palladium has recently come under the control of Carl Kuttler’s St. Petersburg College and the hope is that it will become a major venue for music, theater and other performing arts. Wilborn and his band have played the hall on several occasions, so he is intimately familiar with its needs and possibilities.
