Coming soon to a country near you …
- Bill & George H.W.: On the road again?
- “Obama attended a Muslim school … and I mean that in only the nicest way possible!“
- Just for Hussey: Christoper Hitchens on why Huckabee sucks.
- Bush declares state of the economy as “pretty good.” Begin hoarding food!
- Bob Hite gets probation.
- Debbie Lafave back in court. But why did the Times run two photos?
- Jay & Conan back on the air Jan. 2.
- Oh, and the Writer’s Guild says ‘no way’ to its members writing the Oscar and Golden Globe telecasts. Yes, it’s true: People are paid good money to write that horrific award-show patter.

Hitchens is the one who sucks. He’s only bashing Huck now to sell a few more copies of “God Is Not Great,” which I’m sure will be wrapped under a few trees next week. (Which reminds me, WTF does Hitchens celebrate on 12/25?)
Donald Fagen’s obit on Ike Turner at Slate is a much better read.

Great read indeed. I interviewed/saw Ike Turner perform at the Sarasota Blues Fest couple years back and he was ON — with a tight band and a sexy, strong-voiced Tina clone he trotted out about halfway through the 60-minute set. Granted, the Tina lookalike was a bit creepy but it was definitely a memorable show.

My bad. When I saw the name “Political Whore” I automatically assumed it was Pam Iorio, but then a whore usually gives it away. Iorio sells to the presumed higest vote getters.
Merry Christmas to all.
