Romney won Michigan last night because he talked economy in a state that has the highest unemployment rate in the nation. The problem with the Mittster is that he will abandon that message to scare up the immigration issue in South Carolina, and will change any other message he might have depending on which state he needs to pander to next.
Mitt Romney was a successful leader when he was a moderate…Because of his record as Massachusetts Governor, I would normally support him, but because he felt the need to flip-flop on EVERYTHING for the sake of trying to cajole conservatives, I can’t nor won’t support this phoney.

They do it to some degree, Doobie, but with some candidates it’s more about highlighting different parts of your record or your beliefs depending on the audience. With Romney, I get the impression he has no beliefs and will say whatever the audience wants him to say. That’s not leadership.
Brad Renfro dead?!
I had his “Teen Bop” pinup, next to my Jonathan Brandis pinup of course. Now both the dudes are dead. WTF? Is there no hope for Young Hollywood circa 1995?

I’m sorry Brian, but all comments on today’s Short List need to be two words, and two words only.
Some examples:
Romney flip-flopper!
Romney panderer!
Romney phony!
Kind of like Frankenstein doing political commentary.
(PS: As a hyphenate, I’m counting “flip-flopper” as one word.)

“…and will change any other message he might have depending on which state he needs to pander to next…”
Yeah, but…don’t they ALL do that (or at least most of them)?

Renfro, Brandis, who’s next? Remember, these things always come in threes.
Is it too much to ask that it be a Backstreet Boy?
