- War with Iran? Not on Admiral William J. “Fox” Fallon’s watch! In other news: Fallon just resigned.
- Spokesperson Dana Perino comes clean on the Bush Administration’s monetary policy: “I’m under strict instructions, and have been from the beginning, to not talk about the dollar, and I’m not going to get fired to satisfy your question.”

The democrat’s nomination process is so f*cked up. It must have been designed by a bunch of government bureaucrats who’s intention is not to make a decision.

Here’s my take on the Dems nominating process: It’s over. This whole dog and pony show is being driven by Hillary’s egotism and the MSM’s unending need to keep you tuned in so they can sell advertising. Any rational person must concede that this race is done and has been for some time. It’s been over since Obama won 12 primaries in a row in February. Obama leads in pledged delegates, the popular vote and number of states won. His lead in all three categories is insurmountable.
So it’s over. But it doesn’t end. I am inclined to simply look away until August. Do I really care what happens in Pennsylvania? Not particularly. Someone will win by a thin margin, nothing in the actual delegate math will change, Hillary will make bogus claims to try and sway the superdelegates, and in the end Obama will get the nomination anyway.
However, if you’re in to epic amounts of political masturbation, Pennsylvania should be the yank to end all yanks.

Jim Pease: can you imagine a Hillary Clinton Administration? She’s managed two major enterprises in her career: the health care initiative during her husband’s first term, and her current campaign. And screwed both of them up royally. A Clinton II White House would be as dysfunctional and inept as her campaign staff and when that phone rings at 3 AM it would likely be Bill calling to say he’s still out partying with Elliot Spitzer.

I’ve volunteered to cover the convention (it sounds like a riot to me), but apparently some guy named Garcia is making a play for that assignment. I guess being the political editor has its perks.
