- Obama answers every question the Chicago Tribune can think up about Tony Rezko, escapes intact.
- The kicker: Rising gas prices may wipe out any economic benefit of the coming Bush stimulus checks.
- How low will it go? The stock market preps for a rocky Monday.
- Sure Gov. Crist used to smoke weed recreationally, but that’s no reason to change drug policy.
- What Florida needs now is more traffic laws.
- The rich history of St. Patrick’s Day, more recently known as an excuse to wear green and get shit-faced in public.
- Office pool alert: Get your printable NCAA tournament bracket sheet here.
- Beverly Hills 90210: The Spinoff.

The Tampa Tribune said in their article about the tax rebate that congress and the President hoped we would go out and “spend, spend, spend”.
I hate to break it to those clueless idiots but the rebate money was “spent, spent, spent” long ago.

Even if it wasn’t spent, it’s pretty clear that the cash is going straight into the pockets of the oil companies.
When is it that gas prices peak, again? Memorial day? July 4th? Right when your stimulus check shows up?

Everybody should start building that electric car in their garage, by the time Detroit “gets a clue” we’ll have run out of fossil fuel anyway.

There’s plenty of oil in Alaska…but no one wants to hurt the polar bears.
There’s plenty of natural gas in the Gulf…but no one wants to drill offshore
Detroit will make electric cars when the market demands them enough to pay for them.
PS - China and India aren’t getting any smaller, and they’re driving more and more
