The Short List — Tues., April 8
April 8, 2008 at 8:50 am by Joe Bardi
Now that’s an Olympic torch relay.
- Time magazine names its Top 25 blogs. Guess who’s not on it? (Bastards!)
- Stupid Headline #1: “Crackdown on Militias May Add to Instability in Iraq” (Gee, ya think?)
- And the Pulitzer goes to: Bob Dylan.
- Noisy fish terrorize Cape Coral, Fl. Yes, that’s fish. The underwater kind.
- Men’s Health airs the restaurant industry’s dirty laundry.
- Stupid Headline #2: “Depression linked to Alzheimer’s” (Gee, that’s just about everyone, isn’t it?)
- Kansas beats Memphis in OT to bring March Madness to a close.
- The Lightning nab the #1 pick in the NHL draft.

Your blog is probably no. 26 Joe. Better luck next year.
You know what else Red Robin doesn’t want you know? That its bottomless fries are really just the cardboard tasting crinkle ones you can buy at the grocery store. They may be bottomless, but who in their right mind wants seconds of cardboard?
And f@#$ kU.

Wholeheartedly second the first and third points, Kyle.

Ahh, thanks guys. Your opinions matter more to me than Time magazine’s anyway!
And Kyle, good tip on the fries. I’m now officially boycotting Red Robin.
(Full disclosure: I have never even seen a Red Robin.)

Note to marinade-happy grillers:
Kyle says they marinated his Red Robin burger in teriyaki sauce once and it was the worst burger he ever had.
And Joe, your blog is pretty much the only blog I read because a.) I hate the word blaugg and b.) you are always so attentive when responding to people’s comments and c.) you are very funny of course.
… as for TIME top 25 blauggs I feel Post Secret is brilliant!

I thought Time’s list was really good, actually. I would estimate that I read (and link to) about half of it. The other half of the list added some new bookmarks to my already overflowing list of favorite websites.
And yes, Post Secret is genius.
