Look, I love Redner, but can’t we all agree that this guy just isn’t a viable candidate?
If the Dems can’ beat Brian Blair, they might as well just fold up the tent and head on out of town.

Party politics isn’t the important thing here. If the Dem/Rep/Indie/Whatever citizens of this county re-elect Brian Blair we might as well ALL head out of town. If Blair wins it will tell all our politicians that no matter how many citizens picket downtown and fill county center calling for their heads they don’t have to listen to us at all — it will all blow over in time for the elections.

Well said, Mariella. I couldn’t agree more.

It’s WAY to late to announce a run for something this large. She is handing re-election to Blair if she goes forward with this. What a horrible, horrible decision.

and 1 more thing. she should run in her own district. i know she wants to take down Blair but she would be more effective either battling him face to face (if he loses to Beckner) by replacing some other not-so-great BOCC members like, idk, idiot Hagan. Not for nothin’ Democrats - but yawl are idiots, and as the whole nation turns democrat we might be stuck with the same bunch of assholes we already have. this IS partisan mariella because what divides up democrats empowers republicans. stop running for seats were good candidates are already in there (i.e., Mitchell, Nelson, now Beckner)…friggin pathetic.
