The 10 reasons to like $4 gas was interesting, but I disagree with reason no. 10. Less obesity? Are you kidding me? Expensive gas isn’t doing anything for obesity. All $4 gas means is that people are buying two containers of ice cream when they go to the grocery store instead of just one. They’re stockpiling in order to save an extra trip to the store. Those who are obese are not going to begin a healthy lifestyle because of $4 gas. They’ll begin a healthy lifestyle if they choose to and want to feel better about themselves.
