The first 2:30 of this clip are maddening, but then Alan Colmes (yeah, Colmes, really) flips the script on his conservative cohorts, leading to much stammering, yelling and Sean Hannity’s contention that McCain’s time as a POW gives him a free pass on marital infidelity.
- Only the French could negotiate a cease fire that allows one side to continue attacking.
- Who will the U.S. be backing, Russia or Georgia? The Russians would like to know.
- More Fox News: Bill Kristol says Colin Powell is going to endorse Barack Obama and speak at the convention. Powell immediately denies everything. It’s a real shame you can’t believe anything broadcast on Fox News, as this one is juicy.
- Bring on the books about the presidential candidates — and by “candidates” we mean Obama.
- Folks, please be careful when shaking hands with Cindy McCain. She’s fragile.
- The”Colbert Bump” gets the research paper treatment.
- Tarantino’s latest has critics up in arms, and he hasn’t even started shooting yet.
- Julia Child was a frickin’ spy!

when did alan colmes get ‘nads? holy crap! i honestly didn’t think he could even talk. i always saw him as “teller” to hannity’s “penn”, but unlike teller, colmes probably gets beaten by hannity while he (colmes) is wearing some leather bondage contraption and a ball-gag while bill o’reilly puts cigarettes out on his (colmes) chest.

It was 15 years of pent-up liberal rage, unleashed in one “It’s my turn to talk!” moment. Unfortunately, having blown his wad, Colmes will now return to his usual Marcel Marceau imitation for the duration of the election season.

McCain’s affair took place years ago, when he WASN’T running for President. He doesn’t deny it when it’s brought to his attention, and he doesn’t go around making Father of the Year speeches.

All true, JTorres. The point here is that Hannity was making the case that Edwards was unfit for elected office because he had cheated on his wife and lied about it. If that’s the case, than McCain is unfit for office as well.
The argument is silly, no doubt, but Hannity’s made it anyway. It is was refreshing to see someone serve his nonsense right back at him.
