The AFRICAN CHILDREN’S CHOIR raises money, awareness and the roof in the fight against poverty and disease. The traveling ensemble, comprised of orphans ages 7 to 11, recently performed on “American Idol” with Josh Groban. Tonight, FEB. 2, the children will “edutain” the audience about their lives, losses and the conflicts occurring throughout their homelands. $15-$20. 8 p.m. Ferst Center for the Arts, Georgia Tech, 349 Ferst Drive. 404-894-9600. www.ferstcenter.gatech.edu.
