Sometimes theater is more than red velvet curtains and chandeliers. WOYZECK ATLANTA, a new venue-based production, uses a unique combination of experimental theater, performance art and multimedia for its Thurs., APRIL 10, show. Based on Woyzeck, Georg Büchner’s famous unfinished work, the project drips with excitement, love, jealousy and murder. As if that’s not enough to pique your curiosity, the piece is presented in a live space installation that allows audience members to roam the stage area and experience theater on a whole new level. Through April 20. April 10-12 performances: $5-$25. 9 p.m. Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery, 290 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Suite 8. 404-522-0655. April 17-20 performances: $8-$12. Thurs.-Sat., 9 p.m.; Sun., 6 p.m. The B Complex, 1272 Murphy Ave. www.woyzeckatlanta.com.
