See & Do: The Reunion Comedy Tour

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

Fans of the classic sketch-comedy show “In Living Color” should be very excited because three of the show’s forefathers – Tommy Davidson, Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier – are performing together in the REUNION COMEDY TOUR, which stops in Atlanta Sun., NOV. 25. Grier is the humorous complainer, Davidson contorts his face and voice for laughs, and Wayans – an all-time comedy great – comes with that explicit family humor. Thinking of skipping the show? I don’t think so. “Homie don’t play that.” $47-$75. 7 p.m. Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St. 404-817-8700. www.ticketmaster.com.

seedo2-1_27.jpgBRIAN REGAN’s your average guy who talks about normal, everyday stuff – except he’s hilarious when he does it. Regan has been touring since the late ’80s and even won the American Comedy Award for “Best Comedian” in 1996. Many of his bits have become cult classics by now, including his routine on how he frequently misuses the response “you too,” as when a waitress brings him his meal and tells him to enjoy it. Currently on tour for Comedy Central promoting a live-performance DVD, Regan comes to the Tabernacle for two shows Fri., NOV. 9. $48.50. 8 and 10 p.m. 152 Luckie St. 404-659-9022. www.ticketmaster.com.
