Barack supporters ‘Hungry for Change’

At locations throughout Atlanta, dozens of Sen. Barack Obama supporters held bake sales as part of the “Hungry for Change” fundraising effort. Considering one group in southwest Atlanta raised $300 by 3 p.m., there’s an easy explanation why Obama opted out of the public campaign finance system earlier in the week. He’s got a finance system all his own. “Everybody’s showing up with $2, $3,” said volunteer Karen Ceesay at the Southwest Atlanta location, or “Swatts!,” as she called it.

Beer Fest 2008

CL hosted Beer Fest 2008 at Woodruff Park June 14. Over 100 beers on tap, beer pong, music and summer heat. Of course, drunken debauchery ensued.
