Wild On E! at Opera nightclub

On Friday night, the Wild On television show held auditions for a new co-host at Opera nightclub in midtown. The auditions took place on the top floor of the club, where hopeful hosts read a short script on camera, with a producer jotting notes about their performances. Only a few made it to the final round.

Everyone wants to have their voices heard and attendees of the Democratic National Convention are certainly no exception. The first two days of the DNC in Denver saw several different groups making their individual statements via wardrobe, signs, shouting, symbols and even torture demonstration.

We Are All One Block Party

A fifteen-hour block party at The Five Spot in Little Five Points brings out all kinds of people ready to love, laugh and dance together. And that was the point of the We Are All One Block Party held August 16. With film screenings, live bands, poets, DJ’s spinning, masseuses on hand and a live graffiti creation going on, the block was defnitely hot. And unified.

Kingsized and El Vez

Kingsized and El Vez performed at The Variety Playhouse tonight for an eclectic and sold out crowd. Performing with them were The Dames Aflame, a saucy burlesque act straight out of Atlanta.
