Hippiefest brought a little bit of the 1960’s to Chastain Park August 8, with performances by Melanie, Flo and Eddie of The Turtles, Eric Burdon and the Animals and Jack Bruce of Cream.

Oldies but goodies were in large supply as Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick took the stage at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Buckhead Aug. 3. Though the decades of each band’s popularity and the style of rock varies, all three groups share the knowledge of how to make a crowd happy.
