Proposition 8 Protest

November 20th, 2008 by Joeff Davis in Events, Galleries, Photographers, Pride

Over 1000 people rallied in front of the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta Saturday, November 15, 2008 in protest of California’s Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in California. The protest in Atlanta was part of hundreds of demonstrations across the country Saturday in support of legalizing Gay marriage in the United States. Speakers included Representative Karla Drenner, Georgia’s only openly gay legislature. The lively crowd spilled onto the street in front of the Capitol and waved homemade signs and rainbow flags.

  1. John Bisceglia Says:

We are EQUAL SOULS in human bodies. A marriage in a union of 2 souls.

    What? Not enough legal jargon?

For those who seem O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D with genitalia in All Matters Oppressive to Queers, here’s some friendly advice: “If thinking about gay sex grosses you out….STOP THINKING ABOUT GAY SEX!” ( or is it JUST the male-on-male stuff that makes you squirmy? Curious. )

Chuck Norris, Mike Huckabee, and their ilk need to seriously S.T.(F.ace)U. These hetero “Masters” really NEED a group to dominate don’t they? They need to play their little dom/sub games at home and NOT within federal law! [equality tax protest]
