Protesters at the DNC

August 26th, 2008 by TL Pixley in Events

Everyone wants to have their voices heard and attendees of the Democratic National Convention are certainly no exception. The first two days of the DNC in Denver saw several different groups making their individual statements via wardrobe, signs, shouting, symbols and even torture demonstration.

Jasmine (no last name given) was stopped by Denver police in front of the convention center for looking suspicious. She was then searched. Nothing was found but police claimed she showed them a fake ID and arrested her.
