Troy Davis protest of Oct. 24

Last night another protest was held on the steps of the Georgia Capitol protesting the final decision to execute Davis. It was one of the biggest turnouts of supporters yet.

With tears streaming down her face, her voice cracking and her mother behind her, Troy Davis’ sister Martina Correia encouraged the crowd one more time not to forget her brother Troy Davis who was scheduled to die on Monday night. Correia, a cancer patient and Gulf War veteran, has led the fight for years to free her brother from death row. The rally took place Thursday evening at the Georgia State Capitol.
