Nine Inch Nails and Deerhunter
Thursday, August 14th, 2008Nine Inch Nails performed for suburbia at the Gwinnett Center Wednesday night. Opening was Atlanta’s own Deerhunter featuring lead singer and guitarist Bradford Cox and newest band member Whitney Petty.

Hippiefest
Thursday, August 14th, 2008Hippiefest brought a little bit of the 1960’s to Chastain Park August 8, with performances by Melanie, Flo and Eddie of The Turtles, Eric Burdon and the Animals and Jack Bruce of Cream.

Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick
Tuesday, August 5th, 2008Oldies but goodies were in large supply as Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick took the stage at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Buckhead Aug. 3. Though the decades of each band’s popularity and the style of rock varies, all three groups share the knowledge of how to make a crowd happy.
