Can’t wait for that Amy Winehouse acceptance speech

December 6th, 2007 by Wade Tatangelo in News

167555709_m.jpgKanye West and Amy Winehouse (if the poor girl survives her months-long bender) are poised to collect the most hardware Feb. 10 at the 2008 Grammy Awards (complete list). As expected, quite a few hacks (yeah, I’m talking to you T-Pain) got nominated, and it’s criminal that M.I.A.’s Kala isn’t up for Album of the Year.

    Lupe Fiasco Featuring Jill Scott
Track from: Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor
    [1st & 15th/Atlantic]

wasn’t the album nominated last year? i guess if you release a track as a single a year later, you can get two shots at the apple… but rightfully so, ‘food & liquor’ is friggin’ amazing! i still listen to it (front to back) a few times a month.

  2. Wade Tatangelo Says:

Two shots and Lupe’s worth it.
