That said, it's one of the signature 70s songs from what I think is one of EC's best CDs, "Slow Hand." It'll no doubt be a great show touching on all phases of his career and I have to put the ticket buying strategy in place to go. Thanks to us old geezers having baseball practices and school functions to attend, I'll have a teenage son of a close friend stand in line for tickets for a nominal (ugh) "convenience fee." I don't know what's worse, that or my daughter arguing with me that Clapton wasn't a "rock" singer. Arrrgh! Just for that Alex, go to your room...and bring "Disreali Gears" and "From the Cradle" with you.
