Notable guests this year include Donavan Knowles, a Grammy Award winning songwriter, WILD 98.7’s Orlando, label reps from Slip N Slide, Jive Records and BMI, Rick Aaron (Aaron Entertainment) and more. The conference, which expects nearly 700 attendees, offers an informative panel, high energy performances and unlimited networking opportunities.
TMC founder, Angel Soto, launched the conference in an effort to give Central Florida’s music industry an event to look forward to. It has become a must attend event for those serious about elevating their music career. “Each year is better than the last. The panel keeps getting better every year. It is a great avenue for anyone in the entertainment industry. They’d be doing themselves a disadvantage by not attending,” says Tony Montana, local Dj and show host on 88.5 FM. The five year old conference has made a great impact on the local music scene and is highly anticipated year after year. This year’s panel, hosted by 3rd Leg Greg, will discuss the do’s and don’t(s) of negotiations, fame fortune; and will have a keynote address by Donovan Knowles. In addition to the panel session and keynote, the conference will feature performances by up and coming artists The Basiqs, Tom G. and the Evenin’ Rydahs, Juice City, Jolli Boi, 454, Smoov-Sho and Tha Grain. The annual event has hosted some of hip-hop’s hottest acts before they were stars including 2 Pistols, Blood Raw, and Grammy Award winning producers, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. TMC provides artists an opportunity to get in front of influential people and display their talent and material. “The TMC is extremely beneficial to Tampa because it provides a positive outlet for us. It’s a huge stepping stone and I’m excited about it,” says Trinity, Producer/Song Writer/Artist with Black Group Marketing.
