How come you’re picking up on apostrophes and not noticing that it says “McCurtry” in the first paragraph? I’d rather f up an apostrophe than get the subject’s name wrong.

Julie: Thanks for pointing that out before the story goes to print next week. Thought I’d put something up early on my day off for folks to read over the weekend before it was properly edited.

But let me get this right. You’re a longtime fan of McMurtry, like me, but had to stop reading the piece because of a missing “the” and “apostrophy” — or did you mean “apostrophe?”

Did you EDIT this entry? There’s a contraction for “it is” that’s missing an apostrophy (its) and the name of James McMurtry’s first album is completely typo’d – “Too Long In The Wasteland” would be the title of that release. I had to stop reading there. Congrats for discovering what some of us knew almost 20 years ago, that James McMurtry kicks ass, but do the guy some justice when you write up your interview next time.
