UH, S.C.I. is a big loss to the music scene. They were so big that they played two nights as the headliner at Langerado a few years back. ( I doubt that Langerado would have been canceled this year if they had StringCheese on the bill)

On Archieve.org SCI has 1100 shows uploaded. Only band with more shows is Grateful Dead. In my opinion they are a big loss.

I never implied that all other bands are worthless, only SCI. ;-p

But seriously, I was simply stating the truth as I see it. The scene is stagnant right now. If Is SCI was touring, would they make it any less stagnant? I doubt it.

Agree with everything you say except no need to bag on all the other artists. I’ve seen plenty of spectacular SCI shows and miss them like you miss Phish. Just because you like one band does not mean all other bands are worthless and yes I too would like to see moe in a warmer climate.

well done Leilani. you touched on so many reasons why Phish is so much more than just a band. somehow, amidst what seemed like an endless fanbase, at the end of the show you always felt like they were playing solely for you. whether it be huge festivals or some one off date in the middle of nowhere, the Phish were always able to connect with the fans on a very high level. heres to hoping we can rekindle our relationship and get “back on the train” as soon as possible.

Great piece and nice artwork! I look forward to weekly updates. I wish both Phish abnd the Dead planned a more convenient touring schedule for poeple who live in Florida. They aren’t even playing in Atlanta. I hope that Phish does New Years in Miami.

I tried to get into jam bands like Phish, The Dead, Ominous Seapods, Widespread, etc… But never could. Maybe I listed to too much Gn’R… But I can say that Trey Anastasio is a bad ass.
